July 2011 saw Ocean Beach Holiday Park celebrate a very much anticipated Xmas in July. The Barn was a welcoming warmth from the cool nights outside and looked great decked out with red and silver themed decorations. Parents and kids enjoyed the opportunity to draw and create an art piece on their own table cloths, which saw three families win prizes for their designs.

It didn't take long before Santa arrived with some lollies for the kids and the Magic show was enjoyed by all! Kids Korner created some fancy crafts with the kids including Xmas Bon Bons and everyone had a blast pulling them apart with their mums and dads at the tables.

What a great night. We hope to see you all at Xmas in July 2012!!

On Thursday, 23 October 2008 Ocean Beach Holiday Park proudly hosted a very special Starlight Escape. Children and their families from The Starlight Children’s Foundation were invited to enjoy a day of fun and festivities at the park giving them a much needed escape from the hospital and treatment rooms.

The program included an action packed day of events, jumping castles, clowns, magicians, face painting, art & craft, tractor rides, appearances from NBN’s Big Dog and Prime Possum.  Captain Starlight opened the day with an energy fuelled show which put everyone in good spirits for what was to come.

The highlight was a visit by the Central Coast’s A-League football team, The Mariners, which conveniently arrived at the same time as the Australian Reptile Park keepers and their animals! Much to the entertainment of the families, players were forced to endure a selection of snakes, lizards and even an alligator appearing on stage with them.

The NRMA’s Mobile Member Centre truck, with the latest in road safety information, kid’s education games and X-box consoles was proud to support the Starlight Escape, offering staff volunteers, showbags and chaperoning families.

The day culminated in a fantastic drumming workshop with a circle of drummers, beating out their final ounces of energy and finishing the day with a bang!  Best of all was the smiles that were seen on the kids faces!

Ocean Beach Holiday Park would like to thank the following local businesses, who generously donated their time and services to make the day such a hugesuccess:-  Australian Reptile Park, Central Coast Mariners, Jumpabout Jumping Castles, Jo Jo’s Circus, Drumbala, Ourimbah Fruit Market, Prime Possum, NBN’s Big Dog,  Chocolate Fish Café,  Umina Rotary,  Central Coast Surf School, Umina Surf Life Saving Club,  Umina Fire Brigade, Gosford Police, Hawaiian Shave Ice, Australian Academy of Tai Chi - Wagstaff and McDonalds Woy Woy!
