03 November 2011Located just a minute walk from the door step of Ocean Beach Holiday Park is the recently built $4.5 million Peninsula Recreation Precinct (PRP).
The playground includes the largest state of the art rope play structure in Australia. The 'Space Net' structure is approximately 30 x 30 metres in size and comprises a slide, nests, pendulum swings, hammocks and burma bridges
Other features of the Precinct include playgrounds with fully accessible play areas, all ages fitness equipment, a flying fox, park furniture (BBQ's, seating, tables, shelters, drinking fountains), BMX track, climbing wall, maze, pirate ship, outdoor lighting, pathways/cycleways, half court basketball court, junior and senior skate park, landscaping and bush regeneration, a Community Building with public amenities, tennis facility upgrade, Umina clubhouse upgrade, car park upgrade and other landscaping enhancements.
Federal Member for Robertson, Deborah O’Neill MP said the Precinct is one of the largest outdoor recreation developments to be undertaken within the Gosford Local Government Area (LGA) and has received $3.1 million in funding from the Federal Government’s Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program.
The Precinct Park is popular with Ocean Beach Holiday Park guests and has proven a great attraction for the whole of the peninsula.

16 September 2011Ocean Beach Holiday Park is celebrating the announcement that they have ranked Number 1 in family-friendly holiday parks in NSW.
The Park was recognised in the annual 'Holiday with Kids' travel magazine awards, voted by the national magazine's readership of over 600,000 parents, 61,000 online members and customers of Club Med and TakeABreak.com.au.
Categories included activities for kids, staff hospitality, accommodation, location, safety and family fun.
Ocean Beach Holiday Park Manager, Vanessa Fordyce, says the popular Umina Beach landmark ticks all the boxes because it offers exceptional holiday facilities at a price that is affordable to most Australian families.
Ms Fordyce said the award backs up the positive feedback the park consistently receives from guests and confirms her staff's outstanding commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Guests can use the cards to redeem kids activities and hire activities at the park. They are a great way for guests to enjoy a great family holiday without the worry of carrying around extra cash. Unused funds are refundable on return of the card.

- New accommodation at Ocean Beach Holiday Park
24 December 2010Ocean Beach Holiday Park is pleased to announce the addition of 21 new cabins and 5 safari treehouses. The new accommodation range is a welcomed addition to the park.
The brand new self-contained cabins consist of 16 Plantation Cottages and 5 Plantation Villas, both types providing 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, spacious living and dining area, modern furnishings, air conditioning and a large verandah with outdoor setting, perfect for entertaining!
The Safari Palm Treehouses have a spacious living and sleeping area consisting of a queen bed and single bunks, private bathroom and alfresco cooking facilities. The treehouses provide guests a unique holiday experience of camping, but with the added luxuries.

30 July 2010Ocean Beach Holiday Park now has beach wheelchairs available for use. The wheelchairs are free of charge to use and provide greater accessibility for our guests with special needs to visit our beautiful Umina beaches.
